Valerio Manzari is a Freelance Engineer, and a tenured Professor of Mathematics and Physics at the Liceo Scientifico “Severi” in Frosinone. He holds a PhD in “Methods, Models and Technologies for Engineering” of the XXXIV Cycle at UNICLAM Cassino – Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. As an engineer, he has carried out some 86 projects for which he has been commissioned. As an academic, he is the author of 15 articles in Geomatics (i.e. Geographic Information). He is also a computer programmer with advanced knowledge and mastery of structural calculation software, geotechnics, finite element mathematical solvers, accounting and Building Information Modelling (BIM), analysis and processing of input and output data; Computer Assisted Drawing (CAD) programs, survey and drawing programs; computer programs for the study and application of mathematics and physics. He is involved as research engineer and Digital Humanities computer science expert in Francesca Manzari’s research project “Atlas of Intellectual Migrations in the Mediterranean of the 13th century” (AIMM13).
