Résumé :

The dossier includes the contributions presented by the Société Diderot on my initiative at the International Congress of the Enlightenment in Rome in July 2023. I introduce it under the title “Politique du modèle”, based on a critical analysis of A. Badiou's Concept de modèle. There are two models, the model-idea and the model-object, which imply two methods, empirical or formalist. But this very distinction is shaped by a productivist ideology born of the Enlightenment.
