Résumé :

Since 2017, a team of researchers from Lyon and Aix-en-Provence has been developing an electronic website dedicated to the history of translations composed in Europe from the Koranic text. The aim of www.coran12-21.org is to make these translations easily accessible to Internet users. As the name of the project indicates, the period considered goes from the 12th to the 21st century. A synoptic presentation of the suras, the parallelization of the verses when possible, and precise contextualizations make it possible to compare the various texts. The user is also invited to situate them in relation to the conceptions of Islam that have prevailed over the centuries and, if necessary, in relation to his own representations of this religion, on which he can thus take a step back. The site developed should be aimed at scholars, but also at a wider public, whose interests may be confessional. It is this site that is presented here.
